The Body Shop Aloe Lip Care

Assalaamu'alaikum beautiful..
Alright I'm back with another product review. Have you girls or guys experienced chapped lips? I think everyone has. I also had experienced that kinda day. Sucks, right?! So about a year ago, I found this lip care. I thought it would be that the same type of many lip balm in the market but you know what, it doesn't! It totally has something awesome ingredients. Okay okay, I will show you the pictures below. So here they are :D

Product description from the website:
Moisturizing and non-greasy, Aloe Vera Lip Care conditions and soothes very dry lips. It is designed for skin that needs more gentle care.
  • Leaves lips soft, smooth and well protected
  • Fragrance, color and alcohol-free
  • No added preservatives

As seen on the pics above, it has a thick and clear kinda gel when you squeez out of the tube. I personally love this formula because I use it only before bed. So it also works as a sleeping lip mask which incredibly soothes my lips over night. In the morning when I take a shower, I scrub it with my bare finger and all the dead skin will be removed and my lips feel so smooth like a baby bump. At last, my lips are ready to be applied with my favorite lipstick. However, I don't recommend you apply this before you're applying lipstick, because it has a thick consistency, so your lipstick will not cling to your lips. I think this lip care works on its own only.

Let's jump into conclusion, shall we?

Plus:
  • The packaging is very handy. A tube packaging will always be good for a lip product, especially lip treatment, it's very hygienic.
  • The applicator hugs the lips very well. No finger needed!
  • It's slightly fragranced, a fresh fragrance but it doesn't bother me at all.
  • It lasts a long time. I had it for a year now. So 15ml (0,5 US FL OZ) will last me a long time. I just need a tiny bit of it for every application.
  • It leaves my lips very smooth
  • The gel formula makes it cling on my lips until I wake up in the morning. I have that shiny lips in the morning. So it really is thick!
Minus:
  • Lately, the product has been out of stock for so long at The Body Shop Indonesia's store or online. I'm almost out of it! eerrrr...
If you tend to use matte lipstick, this is a great product to have. Prepare your lips at night and voila! you'll have a ready smooth lips in the morning. *YAAAAASSS

So, do you have any lip treatment that works wonders on you? Let me know in the comment below :D

Collective Beauty Haul

Assalamu'alaikum..
It's been so long I haven't written anything. It's just mainly because I'm too lazy to write. But meh.. what the heck haha. I have been soooo wildly crazy trying new stuff, beauty stuff of course. I wanna try this and try that. It drives me cray cray! So let's jump into stuffs that I bought for a couple months ago. Aaaand here they are...

I know I know.. Girls gotta do what they gotta do hahaha

1. These are liquid foundations. PAC No. C03 (the darkest shade of the 4 shades) and Bourjois 123 Perfect Foundation No. 52 Vanilla (I found it very light in color. I chose this to be mixing with my NYX Stay Matte But Not Flat SMF08 Golden Beige to get a perfect color for my skin tone). I haven't tried the PAC one yet. But what I see from swatches, it has a thick consistency. So I think one pump will do the job for the rest of my face. It comes with a pump (it's always a good thing) but it doesn't have a lid to cover it up. It could be a bummer! Altough the pump has the "click" round to it but still we may accidently make a mess. On the other hand, I have tried the Bourjois one. It's kinda like the Revlon Colorstay but Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation has a very runny consistency. I like it but not so much. I wish they brought more shades. Because they're just too light for a yellow undertoned skin like me or maybe for every Indonesian woman. However, I love it comes with a pump and sturdy lid. So yaaay for that :D

2. LIPPIEEES!! YAAAAAS you can call me lippy queen haha. Left to Right: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm No. 225 Sultry, Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm No. 205 Elusive, Revlon Super Lustrous No. 130 Rose Velvet, Revlon Super Lustrous No. 240 Sandalwood Beige, Revlon Super Lustrous No. 131 Ginger Rose, Revlon Super Lustrous No. 415 Pink in the Afternoon, Koshize Satinlips Mini Lipstick. All Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks come with a creme finish which I loooooove so much! My favorite one is Ginger Rose. It's my new MLBB! The Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm as you can see from the name, they have a matte finish and have a strong sweet minty kinda feel to the lips as the typical jumbo lipstick range from Revlon but they are super creamy and not drying at all. And the last but not least, the Koshize Satinlips Mini Lipstick. I come up with this because I want to try the formula first so maybe I could buy the full size. From what I can tell, it has a satin finish but I guess a lil bit drying on my lips, not so opaque but really nice to try though.

3. Nail Polishes, Liners, and a Sharpener. I got 5 nail polishes from the new line Maybelline Color Show. From left to right: Coral Craze No. 211, Wine & Dine No. 005, Chrome Pink No. 009, Cinderella Pink No. 001, and my favorite one Buried Treasure No. 221. They are absolutely gorgeous! I got 3 liners from our lovely local brand Make Over. I got 25% off so I bought not one but three instead haha. I picked Black Jack, Goddess Gold, and Brown Latte. They are super super super creamy! For a local brand, I find it hard to get a creamy yet waterproof formula. So I just have to bought three of 'em, I JUST CAN NOT RESIST! And the last one from the pic is a sharpener. It's also from Make Over. It's supposed to sharp a creamy liner. So the liner won't be as sharp as a knife. Because a creamy liner tends to easily break, you have to have that typical sharpener.

4. Left to right: HQ7 Hair Milk, Champagne Body Splash in Rock a Melon, The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil, Wardah Makeup Remover, Olay Total  Effects 7 in One Day Cream, The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. The stuff that I'm so excited about is The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil. Because from what I saw almost all beauty guru on Youtube, they've been raving about cleansing oil to remove their makeup. So you know, pheeew I just have to haha. I bought it on sale soooo it's always a win-win ;) and by the way, it works wonders on me (+10) hehe

5. Left to right: Tammia Exfoliating Sponge, Tammia Cellulose Sponge Oval 3M, and a free gift from The Body Shop a Chocomania Soap (Yaynessssss!). Those sponge are going to be used to remove a mask. Happily, I just ordered a clay mask from a friend who is having holiday in Korea. I can't hardly wait to try the mask on hehe.

So I guess it wraps it all up! Is there any your favorite one or two from the stuffs above? Let me know in the comment box :D

PS: I forgot to mention that I bought a foundation brush. It's called Coastal Scents Bionic Flat Top Buffer Brush. I bought it at mooishe.com. A good way to apply liquid foundation! It gives you a air brush finish.
